Abstract

저자는 1975년에서 1995년 사이에 내원한 연세대학교 치과대학병원에 내원한 환자 중 임
상적, 방사선학적, 조직병리학적인 소견을 고찰한 결과 골육종으로 진단된 6 예의 환자에 대
하여 임상적 방사선학적인 고찰에 의하여 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다.
1. 골육종의 발생연령분포는 14-35세 였으며, 평균연령은 26.2세였고, 성비는 M F=1 : 1이
였다.
2. 환자들이 공통적으로 많이 호소한 주소는 종창이였고, 이외에 동통, 하순및 이환부위의
감각이상등이었다.
3. 처음 증상이 나타난 뒤 내원까지의 평균 소요 시간은 3.5 개월이었다.
4.골육종의 발생부위는 상악의 3예, 하악의 3예로서 상악과 하악의 발생비율이 동일하였
다.
5. 방사선학적 소견에서, 골융해성 병소가 2예, 혼합병소가 1예, 경화성 병소가 3예 이었
다. 골막반응은 4예에서 관찰할 수 있었고, 치주인 대강의 확장도 2예에서 관찰할 수 있었
다.
6. 조직병리학적으로 골형성형이 3예, 연골형성형이 2예로 나타났으며, 방사선학적인 소견
과 조직병리학적인 소견 사이의 연관관계는 찾을 수 없었다.

The Purpose of This study was to know the proper diagnosis and to establish the
treatment plan of the osteosarcoma in the jaws through the clinical, radiological, and
histopathologic considerations. The authors compared and analyzed the clinicoradiologic
features of the six cases of osteosarcoma, diagnosed at the Dental college hospital in
Yonsei University, Seoul, Korea, during the period from 1975 to 1995.
The obtained results were as follows ;
1. Osteosarcoma occurred in the mean age, 26.2 years, ranged from 14 to 35 years,
and equally in men and women.
2. The swelling was the most common frequent presenting complaints. Other reported
symtoms included pain, parasthesia of the lower lip or the lesion.
3. The average interval was seen 3.5 months before the patient had been seen by a
doctor.
4. The frequency of the lesions was equally in the maxilla, 3 cases and mandible, 3
cases.
5. Radiologically, osteolytic lesions were 2 cases, mixed lesion 1 case, and sclerotic
lesion were 3 cases. Poriosteal reaction features were shown in 4 cases. 4 widening of
the periodotnal lignament space, one of the earliest signs were shown in 2 cases.
6. Histopathologically, osteoblastic osteosarcoma which is seen in the 3 cases was the
most frequent histologic type. Chondroblastic osteosarcoma were seen in the 2 cases.
There was no correlation between the radiologic appearance hitopathologic type.
